What people have said about the Piggyaxe system…..
The Piggyaxe circuit is an affordable, smart way into programming. The boards are well thought out and versatile, all the hard work has been done.
The range of projects is only limited by the student’s imagination.
There are so many ways of incorporating Piggyaxe boards into projects from Year 7 to Year 13.
Programming is relatively simple using freely available software and guidance can be found on the Picaxe forum and the Piggyaxe website.
The Piggyaxe system has helped me visualise how to integrate PICs more successfully in my classroom – most importantly in an affordable way. It’s been a great support in moving electronics in my school onto the next level, providing opportunities for creativity which can otherwise be difficult to achieve in the confines of traditional approaches.
