My approach to Electronics (and subsequent electronics teaching) has always been ‘build it and get it working first, then ask the questions’. This way at least most circuits can be made to work and so people are happy. After all, not everyone needs to know everything about everything. Modern life is so complicated that this could not happen anyway…..
These web pages are here to show how you can also build a range of working circuits and in some ways at least, ‘short circuit’ what can be a huge learning curve. Learning should be fun to some degree!!!@ email
The projects start out with simple and cheap to build circuits that ‘do something’ – even if the something is mostly flash some LEDs. The circuits are all built on PCBs so that repeatability is guaranteed. Circuit diagrams are provided along with support information such as part numbers to order the goods with and basic software listings to demonstrate circuit functionality.
Choose from the menu tree (left hand side) or go “home” and browse a different category. There is a LOT to see and potentially build.
There is a Powerpoint show that gives some idea of the range here: http://www.g4xat.co.uk/electronics/electronicdownloads

PCB Availability: A4 panels which allow you to build 19 different projects are available now from me for £32 including p&p (UK mainland).
Separate boards for individual projects are available to order in lots of 100 minimum subject to availability and lead time. Where possible I try and use UK manufacturers. Speed costs extra so please plan ahead. Discounts are available for larger quantities. @ email
Please note, I do not supply KITS of parts but lists of what you need for each circuit are available on the resources pages found at the bottom of each area.
